Special K&L Dinners and Tastings

  • July 13: Gordon MacPhail Tasting at the Blue Palms Brew House in Hollywood - Come join the K & L crew for a very special event at Hollywood's central stage for spirits tastings, The Blue Palms Brew House. For more than 110 years, Gordon & MacPhail has been carefully selecting, filling, maturing and bottling malt whiskies for your enjoyment and has remained independent and family owned throughout its long history. Now the proud owners of Benromach Distillery in Forres, the company is also distilling the precious Benromach Spirit again and is bringing this exceptional single Speyside malt - a secret for far too long - to whisky drinkers the world over. This wonderful establishment still based at its original location in Elgin, has become ubiquitous with the world's finest single malts. G & M nearly single handedly developed the single malt category by trusting the quality of the distillers when everyone else was blending their malts. Their unique method of buying new whisky, aging and bottling the malt themselves has given us some of the finest examples of Scotch the world has ever known. This wonderful event will feature 9 of the worlds finest Malts and significant discounts will be available for those who attend. Seating is very limited. Tickets available here...

  • July 10: Kalinda and K&L's Private Label Wines - Our buyers travel all over the world to buy direct from the producers or negociants for the producers. We taste the wines at the property and negotiate with the seller on the spot, often finding wines that are not available on the US market. Sometimes we come across the unique opportunity to bottle a world-class wine under our own labels - Kalinda, Kirkham Peak, and Purisima Canyon - and bring it to you at a fraction of the retail cost. In some cases, we can't reveal our sources, but we are pretty sure you'd recognize some of the names...come taste the savings for yourself!

From the light roses of the south of France to the fuller-bodied, spicier styles of the Americas, there has never been more wonderful options to choose from when it comes to rose. Don't miss this opportunity to taste what's hot now in pink.

  • August 14: Etude Vineyards - The underlying philosophy at Etude Wines is that winemaking begins in the vineyard, months and even years before the grapes are harvested. The Etude winemaking team – Tony Soter, Jon Priest and Franci Ashton – believes that inspired grape growing diminishes the need for intervention by the winemaker, the end result being superior wines that are grown, not made. Come taste through what promises to be a spectacular lineup of their reds, whites, and famously gorgeous Rose of Pinot Noir. Lineup and cost of tasting tbd.  Learn More About Etude
